Morrissey Management runs prestigious events like the American Invitational, the American Gold Cup, the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival, the Lake Placid Horse Show and the Palm Beach Masters, among others.
From the ground up, Morrissey Management Group (MMG) brings with it, decades of experience in producing some of the nation’s most popular one or two-week horse shows, weeks-long circuits of shows and some of the very best one-day major event productions in the country.
Following in his father’s footsteps and learning all along the way, Matt Morrissey has played a major role in every horse show managed by Morrissey Management Group, and has had major roles in events such as the Winter Equestrian Festival, CP National Horse Show, Wellington Equestrian Masters and many more. Matt guided the American Gold Cup’s highly successful move to its new location at Old Salem Farm in North Salem, New York, a marriage that saw the event place as one of the highest rated horse shows in the country, according to NARG, the North American Riders Group.
When the American Invitational moved from Tampa to the East Coast of Florida, it was Matt who made sure the move and the subsequent production came off without a hitch. Matt is proud to be the third generation, following in the footsteps of the legendary Gene Mische and his father, Michael. Matt and his wife Tiffany also own and operate East Wind Farm in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
