The Valenca name is known throughout Portugal – and the world – for its legendary horsemanship and for the family’s equestrian center, with its focus on continuing the centuries-old Portuguese Equestrian Art.

Speaking with Sofia was such a delightful pleasure and I was also honored that her father, Master Luis Valenca,  joined our conversation. Daughter and father: the level of horsemanship, expertise, kindness, and generosity of spirit... it's very clear why the Valenca family is so respected and admired worldwide.
