How do we make dressage more accessible to equestrians from all walks of life? What can be done to ensure we universally focus on good horsemanship, excellence, and integrity – especially among our young riders?
These are just a few questions that drive Kim Van Kampen.
The owner of Hampton Green Farm, Kim is renowned for tackling these concerns through her active involvement in several unique and important national youth programs and through her engagement with – and support of – very talented young riders. And it’s a passion she shares with the likes of Robert Dover, Courtney King Dye, Charlotte Bredahl, and Lendon Gray.
Kim is also one of the most respected breeders of the PRE (Pura Raza Espanola) or Andalusian and is president of the United States PRE Association. As well, Kim’s phenomenal stallion, Grandioso III, has the distinction of having competed successfully in two Olympics and, upon his retirement, was recognized as one of the world’s Top 35 dressage horses — the only PRE in a group of warmbloods.
